Core Values
Changing Lives
Our God is in the Life Changing business! From the very beginning we see that Jesus was always God’s plan to save humanity, but in order to do that, there would need to be a change. It would require a change for the penalty of sin and death, and it would require a change in our hearts and lives. That change came through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus and by accepting Him as Lord and Savior, and following Him, we too can experience real life change.
“Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed— in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed.” (NIV) 1Corinthians 15:51-52
Connecting People
Our God is about connecting together through relationship.
He first wants us to be connected with Him through Christ, and second, He wants us to be connected with each other as the Body of Christ, the church. Therefore, the church isn’t just something that we do, it’s who we are. Our goal as a church family is to continually strive to be a genuine community of faith where people feel accepted and free to connect with God as well as connect with each other.
“What this adds up to, then, is this: no more lies, no more pretense. Tell your neighbor the truth. In Christ’s body, we’re all connected to each other, after all.” (MSG) Ephesians 4:25

Loving Everyone
Our God has created us on purpose and for a purpose all because He loves us. Love is one of His chief and defining characteristics, in fact, the Bible says that God is love and that we can love because He first loved us. So, it’s really no surprise that our purpose in life is to not only love God, but it’s to show love to others as well. We do this by using our time, talents and treasures to show God’s love to them by ministering and meeting whatever needs we can.
“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples if you love one another.” (NIV) John 13:34-35

Growing Together
Above all, our God wants us to continue to grow and mature as His children and in the likeness of Christ. As the church, our role and responsibility is to engage, equip and empower men, women and children to go and be everything that God has created them to be. We want to make growing disciples of Jesus, who are Spirit-filled, following God’s plan for their lives, creating healthy Christ-centered relationships, and who are making disciples of those God has put in their life.
“We ought always to thank God for you, brothers and sisters, and rightly so, because your faith is growing more and more, and the love all of you have for one another is increasing.” (NIV) 2Thes. 1:3
